Luke Grimes comes from a family with three children: Racheal Grimes (his sister), Abby Grimes (her brother) as well as Seth Grimes. The Grimes family was a religious and conservative family and attended Dayton Christian High School. Luke moved to New York City in 2002 following his graduation from high school in order to follow his dream. He enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts where he studied acting over two years. To improve his musical abilities the guitarist also enrolled in classes and singing.
