Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multi-cultural household. Her birthplace was in South London. She has a father who is Nigerian as well as Swiss, while her mother is English. She grew up in the south of a London council estate and attended The Brit School at age 14. She received her Bachelor of Arts in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She appeared in many stages during her high college days, such as the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started acting in Storm Damage. In the years since Madekwe's appearance in Teachers as well as Doctors. Her debut film as a performer was that of the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred alongside Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. In the wake of that film's success, she played Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as appearing in the six episodes of Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi who was the leading character in ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a star in the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Theatre credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe was chosen to play Ashley Davenport on ABC's drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just 2 weeks at The CW and then it ended. Ashley Davenport, a character on ABC's Revenge drama series, was cast as Ashley Davenport. Following her appearance as a regular on the initial two seasons the show was announced late May 2013 that Madekwe would depart the series following an appearance as a guest in the first episode in the season's third. In the TV series Salem, she played Tituba in 2014 through 2016. Madekwe, her long-time companion, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They have also appeared together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for a Gemini Award, comes from an extensive Hamilton family. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty and four older brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic and played baseball and hockey in the winter as well as in the summer. They grew up playing stadiums and played baseball. Ashley was never able to actually walk. She would dance. When she reached two and a half when she was a little older, she was a part of Baby Ballet. Ashley became a dancer immediately. When she was in High School, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of tap, jazz, ballet and pointe as well as acrobatics, lyrical, musical theatre and hip-hop. She was the top soloist in important competitions like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
