Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - is a Canadian and American musician and singer. More than 20 albums have been released by her. DiFranco has released more than 20 albums. The widely regarded feminist icon Grammy award winner Ani DiFranco is considered to be the father of the DIY movement and is among the first artists to create her own record label in the year 1990. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September, 1970 in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as well as Dante Americo DiFranco. Her father was of Italian roots and her mother was Montreal-born. Ani Difrasco wrote and recorded the hit song "32 Flavors".
