Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian performer, actress and musician. The majority of her work comes focused on Tamil or Malayalam-language films. Annayum Raolum is her Malayalam as well as Tamil debut. The actress made her debut in Tamil in the film with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as an attorney in the Madras High Court. She has a younger sister currently working and living in Leuven Belgium in the role of Research assistant. Jeremiah lived in the vicinity of Chennai she was a student at National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight-year-old classical pianist who was also extremely geeky. When she was 10, she was in a group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the foundation of her singing and music composing career. In her college, she was also a theater artist and performed in stage plays organized through The Madras Players. She was also one of the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea started her acting career as an infant actor as a child actor in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. She was featured in the leo coffee commercial with Shiva. She also acted in the serial that was broadcast on Podhigai channel. She's performed all across India. She appeared briefly in Kanda Mudhal's finale (2005). Gautham Menon enlisted Andrea to portray a lead character after she performed in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Andrea portrays Kalyani who is married and mother of a man with an affair. Andrea was picked for the part after actresses Simran Tabu and Tabu were approached. The film came out in the beginning of 2010. In August 2011 Venkat Prabhu released his multi-starrer Mankatha. It was her turn to play a minor supporting role. In 2013 she began her career in Malayalam cinema by playing Rajeeev Ravi's love film Annayum Rasoolum.
